A casual event of Boules & Wine!

Sunday 24th Sep
From 11:00am

Come join in the fun at the Walnut Grove in South Park / Sands End Arts & Community Centre.

Petanque, or Boule as you might know it, is a national pastime in France and for good reason. It couldn’t be more simple or fun to play. Anyone can join in!

The goal is simply to throw the metal balls (boules) and get them as close as you can to a small wooden target ball (the jack).

It’s super simple, easy to pick up and can quickly get competitive!

Come join the fun

Whether you’d like to play or simply hang out, watch and enjoy a glass of wine (from our own local wine expert Kenrick) come along this Sunday, 24th Sep from 11am.

Kenrick will have a nice selection of wines on the day to choose from. Anyone who knows him and his lovely shop will know that this is someone who definitely knows his wines!

Come along to the Walnut Grove, at the northwest corner of South Park, near the Sands End Arts & Community Centre.

We will be joined by members of the London Petanque Group who will bring extra boules so you can join in.

Have your own boules? Bring them along and join in the fun!

We hope this can become a regular local event every Sunday.

Supported by Kenrick’s Wine (of 275 Wandsworth Bridge Road), SEACC and WBRA.
