Discover Climate Change in 3 Powerful Hours – And Leave Ready to Act

Join us at Sands End Arts & Community Centre on Wednesday 11 February, 6pm–9:30pm, for an engaging Climate Fresk workshop. This is a hands-on, game-based way to really understand what’s going on with the climate and what we can do about it.

Climate Fresk is a collaborative workshop built from the latest science used by the IPCC (the UN’s climate science panel). Instead of sitting through a talk, you work in a small group with 42 illustrated cards to piece together the causes and consequences of climate change, creating a big-picture “fresk” (mural) of how it all connects. It’s fun, visual and surprisingly empowering – no prior climate knowledge needed.

Over the three hours you will:

  • Build a shared, easy-to-grasp map of how climate change actually works, using clear, science-based cards.
  • Have space to reflect on what this means for our lives, our community and the things we care about most.
  • Turn insight into action, ending with a practical conversation about what we can each do – at home, at work and locally.

Around the world, millions of people have taken part in Climate Fresk workshops, using them as a starting point for real change in their organisations, communities and campaigns.

If you care about climate change but feel confused, overwhelmed or unsure where to start, this session is designed exactly for you.
