Come and take part in the Second Petanque Doubles event at the Walnut Grove, situated at the northwest corner of South Park, near the Sands End Arts & Community Centre.
The event is for up to 12 teams and the entry fee is £5 per player (£10 per team) in cash upon arrival. There will be a PRIZE for the winners and runner-ups.
Petanque is a simple and enjoyable game where the objective is to throw metal balls as close as possible to a small wooden target ball called the jack. It’s super simple, easy to pick up and can quickly get competitive!
This initiative is proudly supported by Kenrick’s Wines, the Sands End Arts & Community Centre (SEACC), Friends of South Park and the Wandsworth Bridge Road Association (WBRA).
